That's not a good solution, and doesn't really address why the issue is happening in the first place. I know I can use selective sync to remove this folder from Dropbox. I can delete this picture - she's cute but not crazy special or anything - but I'm more concerned with finding out why this is happening and making sure it doesn't happen again. Nothing special about it and the other pictures downloaded in the same way at the same time are not showing up in Photos. This picture came in at the same time and in the same way as other photos (from redding/imgur, downloaded into that folder). I tried making a copy of that file and deleting the original. No other pictures from that folder are in Photos (there's not that many, maybe 50 total in the folder). Today I'm checking to make sure phone pictures taken this weekend were uploaded so I pop open Dropbox on my phone and the 6th picture in is a porn photo from my porn folder. It's buried a few levels deep, yes I know it's not that secure, not an issue. And how many Chrome tabs can you open with 2TBs of RAM is a thing.I keep a porn folder on my computer. SeptemAmber Amateur, Clips, Dropbox, List, Snapchat. Which nowadays is peanuts for browsers, probably without 4-6GBs of RAM you can't browse semi-basic pages on a phone. The whole OS running in a browser it's pretty fluid and barely takes a few hundred MBs of RAM. That is not as a proof of concept, it's honest apps (up to my funny theory that it's the AI pulling our leg) with a decent user base.įor the "proof of concept" side there's full Windows 95 running in Electron too. To kind of get where I'm blabbering about start with this and continue by considering that there are multiple relatively popular terminal applications in Electron (which is basically running Javascript in Chromium!). But maybe the AI is happy to play chess or whatever the equivalent of masturbating to AI porn while we feed its computing needs it just keeps us on our toes with some nonsensical quests. Just make sure to tag the post with the flair and give a little background info/context.įunny I'm joking with some colleagues that the "singularity AI" is actually here and kind of keeping us on our toes we are assuming when singularity comes the next step would be anywhere between some amazing nanotechnology to a Dyson sphere built faster than writing "Lord of the Rings". On Fridays we'll allow posts that don't normally fit in the usual data-hoarding theme, including posts that would usually be removed by rule 4: “No memes or 'look at this '”
